Me too. Best I can get is 210. I drive in eco mode and my scores are 97 out of 100. 280 miles is marketing BS. Doesn't really affect me but like you it feels that they cheated.
With 18 Months & 21K miles experience I use all the accessories air con etc. in comparison to the motor the consumption is minimal.
In comfort with general Summer use I get 180 - 200 range, on the motorway @70 mph brings this down & I calculate on motorway use 140 miles to re charge at 20 -30% range remaining from 100%
Winter knocks a good 20% off your range. Still love my Meganne 4WD would be great though 😏
Had the Mégane E-Tech for a year now. This summer the range did improve to 220-230 miles, maybe a bit more for town driving. Don't need air conditioning or heater much during summer so that helps. In urban environment I usually leave it in Sport mode as most of my driving is short journeys and home charging is cheap with Octopus Go off peak. Love the car and would get the new Scenic E-Tech after this lease is finished as the Mégane is just a tad small.
Temperature and driving style are the main things that will affect your driving range. However the range can also be affected by which driving mode you are in for example sport mode would use more battery power than Eco mode. The strength of your regeneterative breaking can impact your range as well.
Well to be honest it has been quite mild for October and I got my car in August and I only drive it in Eco
I only have the radio on and not
Had to use the heating. I can drive
Many miles without using very little energy. But when I charge it up to 100% it reads 220m And I
didn't realize how expensive it can be to charge up at certain charge stations. If I couldn't charge from home it would be no cheaper than using a hybrid or diesel
After your next charge and before you next drive have a go at resetting your recent trip screen. This will helpreset your mileage and you should see it rise above 220.
I think we were all deceived yes, the tag line of my favourite tv series the x-files is ' the truth is out there', and I think that's the case here.... I bought my e-tech launch edition in January (about 3 weeks before the iconic appeared grrr) and don't found that due to it being the cold winter combined with me having no idea I had to drive differently, I was getting about 180 miles to 100% battery.
Since around May I've been getting upwards of 250 miles and occasionally even seen 300 on there. From November on I expect to see 180 ish as my maximum again though
So basically it 'can' do 280 but not all year round, and you do have to drive electrically 😀
