Just had to change the battery on my 2022 Zoe (white keycard) and found there isn't a emergency key. So checked the other keycard and there is one there. Is this normal to have just one.
Thanks for your reply, for what they are tried getting one cut at Timpsons but they couldn't do it, although they could do other Renault emergency keys. Will refer back to dealer I got it from. When checked if key worked all it seemed to do was open passenger door.
Yes, I think that is all it does. I believe that once you are in the car, you can put the fob on the pad to be recognised, if it doesn't recongnise that you are in the car due to low battery. Not sure even this would work though if the battery in the fob were to be completely dead but hopefully it would work like imobiliser keys do and work by induction.
Just checked mine and I have a emergency key in each of them.
