Hi, I bought a new Zoe EV a couple of weeks ago. Its GPS worked fine for a few days and then suddenly decided to zoom out, without any warning, into a planetary view. There is some discussion from a few other users on the web. It has caused me untold stress and problems on a few journeys to new places. What I want to know is how to fix it so that I can use the feature in the car. I am not happy with a brand new vehicle with an unreliable feature like this.

Hi Sarita,
Two days ago my garage dit exchange the multimedia unit for this problem
In my ZE 50 R135 Intens. The mechanica guy Who exchanged the unit said because the had already ordered the unit to exchange it. But this whasn't necessary anymore there was now also a software solution for !
Kind regards from the Netherlands.
Hi Sarita,
A few things to look into:
- You can do what we call a hard reset on the RLink module which would be pressing the on/off button on the screen and holding it until the display turns off and on again
- Have you tried switching to a guest profile for example to see if it is just the current profile having these issues?
- Has the RLink recently flashed up asking for an update?
I would look at a reset first, and switching profiles. If this does not work I would suggest taking your Zoe to your local dealership and ask them to look into it for you, if it was bough brand new and only picked up 2 weeks ago you should be able to take it in and ask them for a map update
