Hi. I'm from Portugal, so first of all sorry for may "not so good English". I have bought a Renault Zoe R135 form a Renault dealer. It's 10 moths old and 12500 KM'S. When it was bought, the dealer offered the first year service. But on the App it says it's still not done, and the on board computer said the it has to be done in October. I have spoken with the dealer, they said it was a mistake and haven't yet done the "ok" on the app and they forgot to do the reset on the on board computer. They check the cabin filter and said it was new. Well.....I would like to know where it is located so I can seen with my own eyes.
They also said the car as no "real" service book. It's all done on line....is this true? Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Eduardo Poceiro.
I have done ZERO service on my 2020 Zoe ZE50 R135 now at 130,000 km since I got it in Nov2021 (at 8600km). Why? Service on the Zoe is a ripoff. Nothing is changed except the cabin filter. Nothing important are checked or adjusted or can be adjusted. They basically just walk around, cheak use pattern on the tires, brake pads and do a simple check on the 12V battery and use a ODBII instrument to look for error codes. Nothing within all that jsutify the cost nor any necessity for "service".
But after 3-5 years depending on usage pattern will the 12V battery need to be exchanged (more usage of the car almost dayly driving and charging = longer time before need to replace the 12V battery). That can be a do it your self (just an expensive common battery) or let a Renault service center do it for you, very expencive (get a writen qoute before). The other is a brake fluid replacement after 5 years (driving distance not related only time). That can not be done at home. Renault test equipment must be used to operate the ABS system during the exchange.
It is at the same side independent on what side the stearing colum is. So in your case on the passanger side. Look for it on YouTube.
Hi, so the cabin filter on a right hand drive zoe is located under the dash on the drivers side. I am not sure if this is the same on a left hand drive version.
The service interval for a pollen filter replacement is one year/18,000 (which coincides with the first service), so it should have been replaced when service carried out.
Whilst the services are documented on the Renault system although it does not involve the dealer doing anything on a app. The UK still stamp the service section located within the handbook (at the back).
