Used my Zoe twice on the motorway so far and set the cruise control to 70mph but on both occasions the actual travelling speed drops down to 65mph and stays there. CC on the display shows 70mph in green as normal but the car doesn't make any more effort to reach that speed. First attempt I used the B mode, second attempt the D mode, with the same result. Flat motorway, no excessive headwind. Any ideas? Thanks

Thank you all. It seems I've always been in Eco mode, had no idea. I will test again on my next motorway journey. Even though the button isn't hidden, I never noticed it or the display on the dash. Can you tell it's my first EV?!
In Eco mode, my Zoe will only do about 65 on a flat road. Maybe 70 downhill. And it will take a long time to get there. I always turn it off when I hit the open road.
I agree with Marcus, the Eco mode will definitely restrict top speed.
Hi Craig, it sounds to me like you have the ECO mode engaged, perhpas? I believe that when it is engaged the speed is effecively limited in order to conserve energy. Worth checking ....
