I have owned my ZE 50 GT Line for 3 years from new and the remote access to the vehicle has now ended. It only lasts for 3 years. I am having trouble reconnecting the system via the My Renault app. When logging in it keeps on telling me my VIN number is invalid.has anyone else had this problem. I suppose I may have to contact Renault.

Yes, I think the Ohme Pro Smart charger works in a similar way, when I temporarily deleted the app from my phone the charger stopped communicating with the car, this has to be a significant drawback with the system because to cheapest energy tariffs rely on the charger calculating the most energy source effective charging times and to do this they need feedback on the cars battery state of charge.
Do the other manufacturers do the same, surely this is an issue with Renault.

My subscription is still current but I just wanted to point out that the Ovo Charge Anytime tariff relies on Renault passing 4G access to the car on to the electricity provider so renewal will be vital for anybody thinking of using Ovo. Ovo uses the Renault API to monitor how much power is being drawn and remotely changes the Custom settings on the car so as to charge when wholesale rates are lower.
Just to let you know, I messaged the Renault WhatsApp earlier and asked to renew the services. They asked for my VIN which I gave. They responded as follows. Very impressed now:
I have exactly the same problem, except I just bought my 2020 ZE 50 GT Line. It's 3 years passed the subscriptions to things like remote access. I've tried going to a Renault dealer, but they said to call their helpline. I just want to renew the services (I don't even know what's available) on the app but there is no way to do it seemingly. I get the same VIN number is invalid message also. Frustrating.
Equally interested as I will be in the same place in about 2 weeks time. Have heard you can renew it but at a cost of Ā£150pa.
