I already own an MG EV, and I'm looking to change our second car to an EV, I reckon an new ish Zoe with Rapid Charging fits the bill quite nicely, so have been exploring the options, and I figure that the GT Line came with Rapid Charging as far as I can tell, and once you find cars with Rapid there is very little difference in the pricing from Iconic to GT Line, so might aswell opt for a GT Line.
However what I can't fathom, probably due to incomplete specs in ads etc. is what is the difference between a GT Line and a GT Line+ and what is the the difference between [Rapid Charging], and [i, Rapid Charging]
Can anyone point me to definitive answers?
Can anyone give me some real world mileage figure, I've seen CarWow get quite decent range, but Bjorn over in Europe get's appauling figures, and slow charging. I'm wondering if the difference is higher motorway speeds in europe combined with colder weather. Can someone give me a real world UK winter range example? (I am used to driving MG ZS EV and previously Leafs, so I can drive an EV sensibly, but nice to see what others are getting)
I have also seen "GT Line +" which may simply be GT Line with options added that are not available on Iconic cars. The heated seats and steering wheel seemed to be an option (winter pack ?). The distance beepers which Iconic has at the rear also work at the front on GT Line, again not sure the reversing camera is always present on GT Line cars.
Make sure it does have rapid charging as some GT line models are not fitted with it. (Mine included). It has the rapid charge socket but the bottyhalf is blanked off
The GT Line+ has additional heated seats and height adjustable driver's seat. I don't think there is any difference in rapid charging
