Hi all, this Renault zoe was purchased at auction a couple of years back, he had problems with Renault regarding the battery lease, the guy believed he was purchasing the battery with the car but apparently that's not the case, in this instance anyway, we'll he came out one morning and the car wouldn't start, warnings on the dash for battery, it was fine the day before, he seems to believe that Renault somehow switched the car off, I have doubts, I plugged in renolink and started clearing faults but faults in the PEB and LBC modules will not clear, when I try I get error code ( 7F1422 CONDITIONS NOT SET OR SEQUENCE ERROR ), I really have no idea where to start or reason I can't clear these errors, any help at all would really be appreciated , I have some pics, if more pics are needed please let me know and I'll get them, cheers all.
Ohh, I can't upload pics from my phone, let me try another
Hi Jon, thanks for the reply, I'm using renolink for Diagnostics, I've been told that it's no use for zoe, I have can clip in the post so I'll be able to diagnose properly, I'll keep in touch with the forum about results, cheers
Hi Alan, I don't recognise the code. I would suggest putting on a Renault diagnostic machine in the first instance to see what codes are displayed. However, I would be inclined to agree with Nick.
Hi nick, thanks for the reply, I am not sure that it's the case with this car it was parked up overnight, but it wasn't plugged into charger, this guy actually has eight of these vehicles, all of which are now non runners, he tells me that he's in the middle of a legal squabble with Renault over the battery lease, he presumed because he bought the cars from auction that the batteries where his property now is there any way around this problem, and why when I try to clear the faults on this car I get error ( 7F1422 conditions not set or sequence error ), cheers.
Renault can disarm charging for unpaid battery payment, speak to RCI and ask if this is case
