While perusing the different things I can display on the media screen I had a display with lines across and the number 42Kw in the middle. Can anybody explain in simple terms what this actually means? Or point me to a web-site that gives explanation?

Interesting. Could you take a picture of it, I am very curious about it also. And some explanation how you did get to that screen? The only thing that I could think of that might be related is maximum regen power as that is limited to about 43kW (gets way lower if the battery is cold or close to 100% SoC). So see if it the same in cold or with a rather full charge.
