Interestingly when I tried to book my Zoe for some warranty work (the tyre pressure sensor was playing up) into the main dealer who does my annual service I was told they didn't have a mechanic who was electrically trained!
I was advised to take it to the nearest dealer who did have such a mechanic - some 35 miles away!
This seems to back up the point that there is usually very little to do technically and could be done by anyone.
I am obliged to use a Renault dealer though to preserve the warranty and to comply with my PCP contract. Having said that I only pay £4.95 per month to cover the service cost which is excellent value I feel.
In the Zoe service plan. No real service that is needed takes place with a few exceptions.
It is all unnecessary checking points. (And replacing a cabin air filter).
If you are using the Zoe daily.
The only thing that you might need to do is replacing the brake fluid after 3 to 5 years. Replacing the 12V battery after 3 to 5 years (or at least check it), if used once in a week is normal usage, replacing the 12V battery in a strict 3 year period might be smart...
