Hi new to the forum , recently purchased 2021 /71 Zoe R135 gt line
Just wanted to know couple of questions first what is the real world range in summer and the real world range in winter?
Also with the bms on the batteries is it usual in cold weather for the batteries to charge more slowly ?
I've had on rapid charge few times recently but only managed 22kw from a 50kw ccs charger ,
Also can someone confirm if infact these cars come with a minimum 5 year warranty on the whole vehicle ? Or just 3
Many thanks
Hi Ben
Congratulations with your purchase, I bought mine just over 2 months ago, mine is now 14 months old and has completed 3727 miles. My car is currently showing 78 miles @43% charged, so I guess about 180 miles on a full charge in the current climate, I normally only do trips of 4-12 miles though. I only charge my car on my 7kw home charger at night up to 75% and have not used a 50kw dc charger. Accordly I understand the car should be able to charge up to 50kw but temperature and state of charge will all have an influence on the amount of charge the battery should be able to take. Certainly at lower temperatures and above 80% I would not expect the car to be able accept that charge level. The charge level deminishes above 80% approx to ensure that each cell voltage does not exceed 4.2v which will do it harm, I think this is controlled by the BMS (Battery Management System).
According to my app my car has a 3 year manufacturer warranty, 8 years on the battery, 4 years on the motor.
