Previous it was a strict 30min preheat. Now it looks like it is a 30min battery only preheat starting at 1h45min to departure then a 10min full blast preheat prior to the departure time. The crazy part is that it changed at the same time as the Android app was upgraded. How does an app upgrade changes how the car do its preheat?
Prior to the upgrade it was a 30 min battery preheat and 10 min full blast of battery and cabin and after that 10 extra after the set departure time. It did easy reach 26C inside, even at 0C outside. At least that is what I assume when looking at the energy consumption logs from my Easee EV charger. So I might be wrong.
Proper scheduled preheat is a necessity in the winter season in my opinion (at least for battery performance/longevity and range).
Anybody that have more insight into this matter?
