Has anyone got a hypervolt charger linked up to the OVO Charge Anytime app. I have not been able to smart charge the car and need advice about what might be wrong.
I don't have your charger but I do successfully use Ovo Charge Anytime so I thought I should offer my experience which has been very positive. When I first bought the car I used a relatively dumb charger that is simply "on" whenever connected and switched on at the wall. I set my ZE50 to charge immediately and this worked as my initial solution until I set up the Ovo scheme. With Carge Anytime, I set the car to charge at some arbirary time every night for just 1 minute because you have to set something. Ovo must poll the car at intervals because, when it finds the car has power available, it then remotely changes the car's schedule settings to take current when it suits Ovo in order to fulfil your request. I set the Ovo app to request a charge to 80% by 7am every day but of course it can only do this on days when I have connected the charge cable. The normal Ovo elec bill will show this charging as full price electricity which for me is something like 30p / kwh at the moment but every month I get a rebate for that month's charging usage to bring that price down to 10p +5% vat but only for electricity it can see has been used to change the Zoe.
