We bought a 2020 Zoe EV at the weekend. It charged at the garage where we bought it but it won’t charge at home, either using the Renault three pin charger or the tethered Pod Point installed at my house 18 months ago for my Hyundai Kona EV. It does charge at commercial chargers using the Renault cable and the three pin charger does work when it’s plugged in at different properties, but not at mine. So the mystery is what is it about the power supply at my house that upsets the Zoe so it never gets past the initial negotiations with either the three pin charger or the Pod Point? In brief, the charging lights go from amber to red, to amber to red and then settle on red. Any suggestions? The Kona charges fine on the Pod Point.

The Zoë does have strict parameters with regards the earth, which may be causing you a problem on your home charger. I would suggest getting the earth rod checked and ensuring the reading is no higher than 150 ohms.
