Trying to find out more info on what Renault will do in the UK when the 3G network switch-off starts from late 2023 to 2024, 2G will be switched off in the UK by 2033 Quote from a Zoe owner in sweden : The 3G network is about to be shut down in Sweden starting this year and totally down in 2024. 2G Will not be down until 2025. What will happen with the cell phone app control then? I am not sure but it looks like it is SMS text-based control/feedback. The instruction manual is totally useless in this matter, and the Swedish Renault technical support is clueless (don't care as cars are out of warranty). Does Renault have a mitigation plan whatsoever? Does anybody have some insight into the matter?
