Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric Tops EcoCar Electrified Top 50 Awards

The Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric has claimed the top spot at the EcoCar Electrified Top 50 Awards, outshining all other electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid vehicles to earn the title of ‘2024 EcoCar Electrified Car of the Year’.

In addition to securing the number one position in the top 50 electrified cars list, this innovative pure-electric crossover also won the ‘Best Medium SUV’ category.

Ian Robertson, Editor and Publisher of Diesel&EcoCar, which organizes the annual awards, praised the Scenic E-Tech for its remarkable transformation and cutting-edge design: “Renault has reinvented its Scenic for 2024, morphing it from an MPV into a stylish family five-seater SUV with contemporary looks. The switch to a pure electric E-Tech powertrain, offering a range of up to 379 miles, marks a significant shift. The interior is equally impressive, featuring sustainable fabric materials and ample space, with an Android-based operating system that is both responsive and user-friendly.”

Guillaume Sicard, Managing Director of Renault UK, highlighted the Scenic E-Tech’s exceptional qualities: “This award for the Scenic E-Tech 100% electric showcases its superior usability and unrivalled package for modern families. It surpasses all other pure electric vehicles currently on the market, as well as hybrids and plug-in hybrids. As recognized by the judges, it is the best new electrified car available today.”

The Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric is designed to meet the needs of modern families while emphasizing sustainability. It features a compact motor (125kW/170hp or 160kW/220hp) and a 60kW or 87kWh battery pack, offering a range of up to 379 miles. The 87kWh version is available in three trim levels – techno, esprit Alpine, and iconic – while the 60kWh Comfort Range model is exclusively in techno trim, with prices starting from £37,495 OTR.
