I questioned the dealer twice about the date for a test drive. So who know's? The whole elctric car scene is a chaotic nightmare. Heaven forbid you damage your new electric vehicle, the wait times for spares can be months, all makes.

I'm suprised you're so certain that you still want to buy it, I'm having doubts, I feel like we're being sold an inferior low spec model and not the premium priced model I signed up for. ☹️

Here's the 12inch screen you won't be getting because Renault think you'll like the smaller 9 inch screen better. Notice how there's hardly any room for you're phone to charge below it, I don't think! Imagine having to look at that massive map display 😱

This must be a left hand drive entry level model.

Hi Jon. You might think you understand where I'm coming from but I'm not sure you do. Renault have not given a clear and direct answer when asked, by motoring reviewers, why the model we will receive has this display size. If a company with the resourses of Renault can't mirror image a display, then I'm shocked.

They really must hate us British. The OpenR screen has a display area like no other: a 12.3-inch dashboard screen (1920 x 720 pixels, landscape) and 12-inch multimedia screen (1250 x 1562 pixels, portrait). The entry level model features a 9-inch multimedia screen (1250 x 834 pixels, landscape). It incorporates the latest-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 4K multiple display capabilities, and advanced connectivity with USB-C ports.

It's getting worse specs everytime I read something about the new Renault Megane E Tech all electric. It'll be like the Flintstones car by the time Renault manage to let us have one. I've just booked my place on the Megane E-Tech 100% Electric Live event in August. Plenty of time for Renault to correct all the omissions. Don't think so!

I hadn't noticed that the laser cut wood trim was not on the right hand drive models. I love the overall look of the car but I'm losing interest in purchasing the car now. I'm not going to sold a budget car for a premium price. Very disappointed, it was a looker.

Okay Jon, why are all right hand cars getting the reduced function display?

It might well do but the infotainment screen being smaller looks like we British are being shafted, to me. I'm all about the looks and this looks cheaper. Just saying 😉

Hi Jon, thank you for the reply but I can't agree with you. I've seen the screen on reviews and it looks brilliant, so I'll reserve judgement until I've seen it up close.
